Hellllooo December! Hard to believe the final month of 2012 is actually here, right?
December is one of my favorite months of year, not only because Christmas is a fave holiday of mine but because I love that feeling of winding down for the year and then starting fresh with new plans & goals in January.
But before we get to the holidays and the start of the new year, there’s lot of fun stuff in the works. Here’s a few fun things happening this month that I wanted to make sure you knew about so you don’t miss out.
December at Masterful Scrapbook Design
I’m thrilled this month to be one of the guest teachers for December over at Masterful Scrapbook Design. This month’s theme is Layout and I along with 3 other awesome guest teachers are sharing all about our tried and true methods for layout design including how we approach things like white space, balance, overall composition and finding inspiration.
$12.50 for the month gets you access to a 200 page interactive e-zine, 4 guest teacher interviews (these are my favorite part of the class) and 4 “office hours” sessions where you can get feedback on your own work, which is really a great deal. Debbie Hodge does a great job of choosing guest teachers so the quality of the content in these classes is always fantastic – even as one of the teachers I always learn something new! Everyday Storyteller Holiday Gift Sale

Over at Sweet Shoppe Designs this month, we’re getting in the holiday spirit with our first ever Bargain Bliss sale.

Holiday Faves at Nettio Designs
Of course, here at Nettio Designs, it’s Holiday Faves month which means lots more Holiday Faves Mini Album updates will be coming from me. This is one of my favorite projects of the year so I’m happy-dance-level excited to start adding photos, stories and memorabilia to my little book!

Holiday Hiatus Dec 19th to Jan 6th
And finally, a little advance heads up for you: Nettio Designs will be taking an official holiday hiatus from December 19th thru Jan 6th, which means, no new products or blog post being released during that time and email responses will likely be slow. I’ll will be sharing my Holiday Faves mini album updates up until the 19th and then I’ll share the rest of the album when I return in January.
This is what I did last year and I found it was the best way for me to not only focus on spending the holidays with my family but also come back refreshed and ready to go in the new year. Of course, you’ll be able to follow my adventures on Instagram and Facebook during that time so I won’t be totally disappearing, haha.
